Dr. Krug earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science in 1970 and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1971 from Texas A & M University. He moved to Dallas in 1971 and opened Campbell Village in 1978. A lifetime member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Krug was named one of the Best Vets in Dallas by Town & Country in 1997.

He is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Collin County Veterinary Medical Association, the Cornell Feline Health Center and the Society of Theriogenology. Dr. Krug is involved in all aspects of small animal medicine and is interested in diagnostics and theriogenology. He is married, with two married sons, two grandsons, one granddaughter and one dog. When not taking care of everyone’s dogs and cats, he enjoys travel and art.

Dr. Smith grew up in Blossom, TX, outside of Paris, TX. He attended Texas A&M University in College Station and received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 2004. Receiving his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, he was the valedictorian of his class at St. Matthew’s University in Grand Cayman, B.W.I. He did a clinical externship at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine.


Dr. Smith spent his first 3 years post-graduate in a mixed-animal practice and a year in Emergency/Critical Care Medicine in Arlington. He lives in Prosper with his wife Suzie, who is also a veterinarian, their daughter Annabelle, their son Caleb, a mixed breed dog Gus, and Marley a Domestic Short Haired cat.
